According to data issued by the Federation of Turkish Chambers and Exchanges TOBB, the number of companies established with a foreign partnership in Turkey during the first half of this year 2022 reached 9,828 companies with a total capital of 5.4 billion Turkish liras.
Thus, the number of companies with foreign partnership achieved an increase of 64.4%, compared to the number during the first half of last year 2021, which amounted to only 5,978 companies.
The percentage of foreign capital in the established companies is more than 80%:
In details, the number of closed companies among the mentioned companies amounted to 884 companies, while the number of limited companies reached 8,944 companies, and the percentage of foreign capital in these companies amounted to 80.8% of the total capital of the total foreign companies that invested in Turkey .

In the details related to the distribution of foreign partnership companies according to the nationalities of the shareholders in foreign countries, the Iranians came in first place with 640 companies, followed by the Russians with 500 companies, then the Germans with 269 companies, and the first ten ranks were in the form next one:

As for the classification of foreign nationalities according to the size of their capital in companies established in Turkey during the first six months of this year 2022, the Iranians ranked first with a capital of 347.4 million Turkish liras, followed by the Russians with a capital of 306.5 million Turkish liras.

Istanbul and Antalya are the most attractive for foreign investors!
With regard to the distribution of foreign companies in Turkey to the states, Istanbul ranked first as the state that included the largest number of these companies during the first half of this year 2022, as the number of foreign companies in Istanbul during the mentioned period reached 6,122 companies.
After Istanbul, Antalya ranked second with 767 foreign companies, followed by Ankara with 402 foreign companies, then Mersin with 353 foreign companies, and then came Bursa with 262 foreign companies established during the first half of this year.
Istanbul also topped the Turkish states in the value of foreign capital in the companies concluded during the first half of the year, as the total foreign capital in its companies amounted to 3.3 billion Turkish liras.
While Antalya ranked second with a total capital of 397 million Turkish liras, then Bursa with a total capital of 350.8 million Turkish liras, then Mersin with a capital of 292.9 million Turkish liras.
